Yesterday Madam Speaker reached out to Catholic Cardinals and Bishops and instructed them to tell their Congregations that they should support Immigration reform. Who the hell does she think she is? What happened to the separation of Church and State? While technically, she has not violated the Constitution, she is on that “slippery slope” that the Administration keeps talking about. The Constitutional Muster may give her a pass because there has been no laws passed but here is one of the most powerful politicians in our Country lecturing the clergy about Public Policy under consideration in Congress. Her conduct is outrageous and deserves Censure by the House of Representatives.

Little girl that threw back the baseball that Dad caught
Americans were enthralled this week by a toddler that threw back a baseball that her Dad had just caught at a major league game. Pictured above, is that bright ray of sunshine receiving a jersey, cap and a signed baseball from “The Phillies.” Somehow in a precious moment caught on film, Dad showed what being a “Daddy” is all about, rather than scolding or being upset that his daughter threw back the baseball, he instead scooped her up in loving arms to reassure her that everything was just fine.
So why was this so special? America needed to be reminded, assured through this small child that all is not lost! No matter how bad the world is, that there is still hope. I for one believe that the Lord moves in mysterious ways and what a blessing that he chose this little girl and her father to be his messengers.
