Sunday, June 27th, 2010The anointed one bungles yet another critical appointment in the nomination of Harold Hurtt as the OSLC Director for ICE. Let us really examine this appointment because it really is a slap in the face considering that this man supports “Sanctuary Cities” and selective non-enforcement of immigration law. How can you possibly entertain hiring someone for a job that they don’t believe in and has demonstrated that they will not follow the very rules that they are sworn to obey and enforce. The answer is easy! Like that person, the anointed one has decided that he doesn’t like the rule of law because it doesn’t agree with him.
Obama swore to uphold the Constitution and the laws of our nation. “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
The Constitution by extension of the separation of powers and appointment of Congress to make laws and the Executive to enforce them, not some of them, not ones that may not make you popular, but all of them; makes the Executive’s duty abundantly clear. The selection of Harold Hurtt is a violation of the oath of office. Citizens being murdered in Arizona by illegals while he is busy playing political games with securing of our boarders to secure immigration reform is a violation of the oath of office.
If Bill Clinton could be impeached over an extra-marital affair that killed no one then Obama’s actions certainly rise to impeachable offences that should be prosecuted.

President Calderon addressing Congress
Talk about the Pot calling the Kettle black! Has anyone ever bothered to find out what happens to illegals in Mexico, (not that anyone would want to be an illegal immigrant in Mexico). Foreigners in Mexico are required to carry proper ID including proof that they are in the country legally. What happens if you can’t prove it, you are put in JAIL. Then if you are very lucky, they will just deport you. You want to talk about racial profiling, there is no such thing as freedom as we know it. There is no limit on when, where and how you are accosted by the authorities in Mexico. You can be asked for your ID at any time, period.
Mr. Calderon does have an ulterior motive to shoot down this law. The plain fact is that illegals send millions if not billions of dollars back home to Mexico. Why do you think that Mexico’s economy has survived this long. It certainly isn’t NAFTA. It is all of the money being funneled back across the border and spent in Mexico that sustains them. If I were Calderon, I would want to see this law fail but to come to the US and in a Joint session of Congress and outright lie about it as the Administration and our Congress have done is beyond the pale.
Every one of these spineless shrews needs to be removed from office.
Pelosi Stomps Constitution
Wednesday, May 12th, 2010Yesterday Madam Speaker reached out to Catholic Cardinals and Bishops and instructed them to tell their Congregations that they should support Immigration reform. Who the hell does she think she is? What happened to the separation of Church and State? While technically, she has not violated the Constitution, she is on that “slippery slope” that the Administration keeps talking about. The Constitutional Muster may give her a pass because there has been no laws passed but here is one of the most powerful politicians in our Country lecturing the clergy about Public Policy under consideration in Congress. Her conduct is outrageous and deserves Censure by the House of Representatives.

It just so happens that my favorite news source, FOXNEWS, broke a story about “The Tea Party Movement.” Seems that “The People’s Voices” are being heard and the spin doctors are out in force to try and quell the dissent! Unions and their fat cat PAC bosses are trying to derail, minimize, and plain spew outright lies about a grassroot group that wants nothing more than to pull our Country back from the brink of failure! All the King’s Men
Wednesday, March 25th, 2009Came across this classic speech from All the King’s Men while checking out some of the blogs and OpEd pieces for the day. The entire Congress and Administration needs to view this one! The truth would be such a breath of fresh air that everyone would faint due to oxygen saturation. The landslide at the polls would make Reagan’s pale in comparison.
The problem is that we can’t get good, honest people to run for office at a high level. There is too much graft and corruption, never mind the power brokers behind the scenes that would be afraid of losing control. Our AIG boss had it right when he casually mentioned “our friends at the Federal Reserve and Secretary of the Treasury.”
How about some comments on how this candidate would fare in today’s Government.
