This past four days has been a whirlwind of activity at the home front. Yet I could not pass up an opportunity to be with my family for the Easter holiday. With two young daughters, the chance to make the time and be able to be with them is my number one priority. The grindstone and deadlines will always be there. The chance to see my babies pray, sing, and hunt Easter eggs from the number one bunny in the land will never present itself at this time of their lives again. Neither will the family get together, taking pictures of the girls in their Easter best, picking wildflowers in a big open field for presentation to their mother. None of these moments in time will repeat themselves for you so one must make the time to enjoy them.
As each of us makes our way through this world, it is important to reflect on the REAL priorities and pick them carefully. Remember that anything worth having is worth fighting for and I think the last four days speaks for itself.
